Collection of letters belonging to the Wetmore family dated 1963-1978. The collection is split between two sets correspondence. The first (GLC09753.01) is sent from Nellie Joe Wetmore to her husband, H. Davis Wetmore and other family members dated primarily 1963. Her letters pertains to her travels through Europe and to the Middle East with a missionary group. In one letter she describes visiting the Gaza strip. The second set (GLC09753.02) are letters and greeting cards sent between Rod Wetmore and his wife and daughter Connie and Kathy Wetmore. Rod Wetmore is stationed in Germany on his last stint in the military before retirement. Connie Wetmore's letters pertain to living in a trailer park, her neighbors, working for Planned Parenthood and finding religion. Also part of this second set are greeting cards from Kathy Wetmore addressed to Rod Wetmore for various holidays.
