Writes from Martinsdale Barracks. Informs Ogden that he would have come down to visit her before he left, but lacked the time. Says he is stationed in barracks opposite the City Circle. Believes that he has "a splendid Col." Recounts meetings with various acquaintances. Says he would be glad to see any of Ogden's friends who want to come for a visit while in the city. He knows that she is busy, but asks that she please think about him. States he found out from Mrs. Reeves that the Hospital is being opened again. Thanks Ogden and tells her that the women's work is necessary.
