Writes to inform Knox that he owes Laurance money for rent. Explains that while Colonel [Timothy] Pickering left the house in the beginning of May, Knox's furniture and other articles were still there, which kept Laurance from taking possession of the house until the beginning of June. Is also charging Knox for damages to the house.
