John Tyler eeplies to his daughter concerning a discussion of the Duke of Marlborough and Charles XII of Sweden. He then proceeds to discuss English writers and Joseph Addison's and Richard Steele's Sir Roger De Coverley papers. Writes that he hopes to be home next Sunday but advises her not to expect him as his movements are uncertain.
