Informs her that Lieutenant Colonel Montague (possibly George Montague) will deliver a flag given to Edwards by Mrs. Morewood. Requests that Mrs. Edwards add to the flag (in gold leaf) the names of battles in which the 37th Regiment has participated: Fredericksburg, Marye's Heights, Salem Heights, Gettysburg.
