Title: The Epistle from the Yearly Meeting Held In London [Revolution]
Contains a letter to friends at the quarterly and monthly meetings in Great Britain and Ireland, and another letter to friends at their yearly meeting in Philadelphia. Both letters guide the conduct of Quakers, and encourage peaceful conduct in the face of the American Revolution: "...the general body of friends in America, under all the trials and difficulties they are exposed to in these times of confusion and peril, have been preserved in a conduct consistent with our peaceable principles." Written in the fifth Quaker month.
