Indicates that William C. Bradley, an agent of the United States under the treaty of Ghent to fix the boundary line between Maine and Canada, sought an explanation for Charles Turner's implication of him in his letter to John Holmes (see GLC05634.03). Reports that Turner claimed his comments were not in reference to Bradley.
