One newspaper clipping containg two short articles on local news in New York state. The first article entitled, "Herkimer," pertains to news from the Gould Paper Company expecting snow. The second article entitled, "Schenectady," pertains to a German short wave radio picking up a signal and reporting that Eric Ritter had been taken as a prisoner of war by the Germans.
