One photo essay entitled, "Know Your Japanese War Planes" dated May 17, 1942. Contains photographs of various Japanese aircraft bombers and fighter planes such as Mitsubishi Type 96 and Tatikawa Type 95-1. Reverse side is a continuation of the Rotogravure section featuring: Douglas MacArthur arriving in Australia; the Duke and Duchess of Windsor meeting survivors of a submarine explosion; Ivy Low Litvinoff, a Russian ambassador's wife at a movie premiere; Polina Sedova, a Russian second lieutenant and pilot of an ambulance plane; and Lee de Forest inventor of the radio.
