A letter from William J. Myers to Mary Rose Myers dated May 14, 1943. William starts his letter writing "Hell-o Mother." He continues "How do you like the new title? Well it won't be so long before you are." He writes that Mary Rose should be taking care of herself and that he knows it's going to be tough, but she should be his good little soldier like she keeps telling him to be. William proposes that if it is a boy he names him and if it's a girl Mary Rose names her. He suggests two names. He also reports that he is not eligble for furlough. William mentions that he is going to go and make a will. William signs the letter as "Tex."
