One letter from William J. Myers to Mary Rose Myers dated December 17, 1942. This letter is written on Key Field, Mississippi letterhead but the return address is Madison, Wisconsin. William writes that the money and a Christmas card arrived and asks if that was all that was sent. He thanks Mary Rose for the money, and says it makes his life easier and it lets him go into town and take in a movie on his weekend off. William mentioned that Raymond wants him to come see him but William is not sure he will be able to. He thinks that if she visits around Christmas time he should have two days off, and the two of them can go visit Raymond together. William signs the letter as "Tex."
