A letter to Senator Bruce asking about Thompson's confirmation. Thompson got a letter from another Senator saying that he had been confirmed for a position, but upon asking a clerk in charge of the paperwork was told this was false. Thompson wanted Senator Bruce to see if he could help Thompson find out what happened. This letter is contained with another letter to Lamar, Lucius Q.
