Published by Walker & Lewellen at an office in Bosher Hall at the southwest corner of 9th and Main in Richmond. Tag line below masthead says: "No North, No South, No East, No West - Our Whole Country." Appears to be an occupation newspaper with a pro-Northern bent. Front page has: article titled "Adjournment of the Committee on the Conduct of the War," printing of General Nathan Bedford Forrest's farewell to his troops from 9 May 1865, and update on imprisonment of Confederate President Jefferson Davis and Vice President Alexander H. Stephens. Small tidbits of news from various places throughout the country are peppered throughout the newspaper. Includes information on hotel arrivals, shipping news, amusements, and city news of Richmond. Back page has advertisements for auctions, rentals, insurances, and banking. Also has a letter to the editor from "Peace," about the meaning of the war, saying the country had to go through it in order to come out strong. Stamp on top of front page says "Autograph Collection of Dr. Max Thorek Chicago."
