Circular letter asking each member of the Society of Cincinnati for the state of Massachusetts to come to the meeting on the next fourth of July and bring twenty-four shillings to pay for an assessment and diploma. Edwards was the society's secretary. During the Revolution, he served much of his time under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Henry Jackson and also served as acting Judge Advocate at West Point.
