Certifies Nathan Pendleton of the sloop Seaflower, clearance to the custom's house of Penobscot Port. Specifies that the sloop was bound for New London, Connecticut, and that there were thirty thousand pine boards and fifteen thousand shingles on board.

Also accompanied by a signed card of George T. Brown, Sergeant at Arms of the Senate, permitting Kellogg and family. Dated April 15, 1865 - 29 July 1865.

Lists six officers absent from camp that Briggs should order to return.

Writes that he would like to go out with a lady and then jokes that he woke up and saw uniforms all around him. An aerogramme consists of a blank sheet of paper with folding instructions and adhesive flaps that becomes its own envelope, and carries prepaid postage at the international airmail letter rate.
