Pierce, third assistant Secretary of State, transmits the photograph contained in GLC00861.01. Responds to a letter from September 2, 1905 letter from Jeffery (possibly publisher and printer William Hartley Jeffrey) requesting that Pierce acquire the signatures of the photograph's subjects, including President Theodore Roosevelt.
