There is a slight mention of Hamilton's publication of the Reynolds pamphlet "He shrunk from the imputation of misconduct in public life; and if his judgment ever misled him, it was only when warped by an excessive eagerness to vindicate himself at the expense of his discretion."

Angelica also writes 'I wish to god I had been a boy; or an old maid and then I had never left you."

She wrote that it was very fashionable and popular and that the Prince of Wales stayed from one o'clock to five in the morning, something he had not done at any other ball this season. She describes her decorations and mentions that she has gotten many invitations, including one from Mrs. Fitzherbert at the Prince's request. She writes after getting back that the Prince talked to her for a half hour. She continues by mentioning her desire that her father be made ambassador so that they could live together or in adjoining houses.…
