Ends by accepting the nomination for the presidency from the Anti-Masonic State Committee of Vermont, which Knapp headed.

States that the cargo was assumed in Philadelphia, and that Oakford has not broken bulk since arriving in Baltimore. Partially printed. Docketed 27 December 1787.

The undersigned are members of a committee charged with asking Knox to recommend Mr. Thomas to Knox's good friend General [Benjamin] Lincoln. The document also lists Mr. Thomas's qualifications.
