Graham states that Kidd, although he would be tried, would not drag down the other investors in the Adventure Galley scheme, claiming that the factionalized Parliament would not destroy the reputations or fortunes of either Livingston or Bellomont.

Graham was in New York "to attend the business of the supreme court." Taking the opportunity to forward the news of new Colonial Governor Hamilton's arrival in New York, Graham also writes of the troubles in New England: "Accordingly they are very apprehensive of an Indian warr in N England and have raised men which they have sent to the east ward for their security it is Conceived that our Indians are in Concert with them but that is a point must be tenderly managed." Graham sends his condolences on the death of Stephen Van Cortlandt. He also discusses Livingston's suspension from being Collector of the Excise, which he considers to be "a paradox" when viewed with the same eye as reading of Bellomont's "Esteem" for Livingston. Graham also discusses the proposed match between John Livingston and Mary Winthrop, "I am apt to believe that the mariadge is as good as any N England mariadge." Title: Propositions made to the Mohawks and an answer.

The Commissioners state that English families will be settling on the land called Skohere, and they ask that the Mohawks send some men there to accompany the Surveyor General as he searches for an appropriate place to make a road. In their answer from the 3 July 1710, the Mohawks explain that Lord Bellomont broke the deed of the sale of Skohere, which means that the English no longer own that land. The Mohawks are outraged at the Commissioners' plans to take their land away from them, and insist that no decisions will be made until their Sachems return from England.

Hunter informs Schuyler that a group of French men and officers recently arrived at Onondaga, and he wishes Schuyler to travel there immediately. While at Onondaga, Schuyler is instructed to thank the Indians for informing the English of the French arrival, and to remind them that they are not permitted to keep armed men, priests, or emissaries among them. Hunter also orders Schuyler to be present at all meetings between the French and Onondagas, and to send some Indians to the Canadian frontier to keep an eye on French movements.

The 5 Nations and River Indians have gathered at Albany to voice their commitment to General Francis Nicholson and the expedition to reduce Canada. They ask the Governor to pardon the French Praying Indians if they decide to help the English, and inquire as to how to dispose of French prisoners. Governor Hunter answers that he will forgive all that join the expedition, and instructs the Indians to give Christian prisoners to the English, who will in turn give Indian prisoners to the 5 Nations.
