Refers Knox to him for the latest news on the negotiations and the purchase. Reports "the Committee are much please'd with him as are all with whom he associated." Wants to know Bingham's opinion of Boston. Says that Madame de Laval is very upset and just took the stage to Philadelphia to confront Knox over their arrangement.
