On the reverse Nellie from the post office waiting for the customs agent to release the medicine Davis has sent her. Nellie notes under the date and place "no word from Rod." Nellie writes she enjoys the world and religious history of the area, and the people are very beautiful. Water is scarce. She comments on the goats, camels, and carts that aid "modern transportation."
