One newspaper clipping sent by Omer H. Kelpe to Virginia Heidt Kelpe in a letter dated May 20, 1945. Clipping is a comic titled Male Call. This particular strip is titled You Never Know Where the Front Is. In the comic two soldiers are talking about their sergeant, worried about how quiet he has been sine getting on the boat home. They notice him getting off the boat and realize they do not know where he lives and are sad he is not saying goodbye. The last panel is the sergeant getting yelled at by his wife about money and the kids.
