One newspaper clipping sent by Omer H. Kelpe to Virginia Heidt Kelpe in a letter dated September 25, 1944. The cartoon features a family including parents, four children a dog and a cat. The children are all playing and obviously misbehaving. The woman is seated on a chair next to the man on another chair. He is in a military uniform. The caption reads, "Is thirty-six hours all they gave you, dear, or is that all you asked for?"
