One newspaper clipping sent by Omer H. Kelpe to Virginia Heidt Kelpe in a letter dated September 25, 1944. The cartoon features a couple in fancy dress standing in a doorway looking at an older couple sitting on a couch having wine. The caption reads, "It's nice to see the old folks happy and know they'll always be taken care of. They sold their cars!"
