One newspaper clipping entitled, "Concede Privates Who Stole Plane Did Good Flying Job." Pertains to the arrest of privates Ronald Voyles and Thomas McDonald who flew undetected over Southern California aircraft system. They had escaped from the airfield and were arrested shortly after they abandoned the stolen aircraft. McDonald had initially been serving a seven-year jail sentence for robbing a railroad station.
