One broadside dated 1816. Features a chart listing the appropriations on the budget for 1816. Includes four different sections; Civil Department, Military Department, Treaties with Indian Tribes, and Single Accounts. The Civil Department section is further broken down into three sections; some remaining under the main heading, Miscellaneous Expenses, and Public Buildings. Some interesting lines include; compensation to the president of the United States, Library of Congress, rent and fixtures of the new buildings occupied by Congress, an annuity to Young King a chief of the Seneca Tribe, and annuities to the Osage. The section for single accounts includes payment claims for a variety of people with notes at the bottom of the chart outline the types of appropriations.
