History Teacher of the Year Finalists and other state winners have enjoyed local and state press for their achievements. We will continue to highlight their success in the coming months as we celebrate our National History Teacher of the Year, Alysha Butler.
Karalee Nakatsuka, 2019 California State History Teacher of the Year, was interviewed by The Rafu Shimpo: Los Angeles Japanese Daily News and the Arcadia Patch and was featured on her local ABC Eyewitness News website.
Carla Flanhofer, 2019 Colorado State History Teacher of the Year, was featured in a story from the Colorado Hometown Weekly.
