A letter from William J. Myers to Mary Rose Myers dated May 18, 1943. William writes to Mary Rose that he misses her so much and is sorry to take so long answering her letters. He writes, "I told you to expect such things, when you married me." William also writes that his staff rating was deleyed. He asks if it is possible for Mary Rose to travel down to see him as it might be the last time she will see him for a while, but it is up to her. He also mentions that he hasn't been paid in two months but should be paid at the end of the month. He also notes in passing that he has been in school a lot more as they are low on fuel. As a result they have not been able to fly as much as he wants. William mentions drafting a will even though he has nothing to leave her. William signs the letter as "Tex."
