One wirephoto taken by Associated Press dated April 5, 1968. Depicts Reverend Ralph Abernathy raising an arm to the sky and saying "Long Live the King." Picture taken after a short memorial service in Memphis, Tennessee after King's body had been placed in a hearse at a funeral parlor. According to the wirephoto text, King's body would be flown from Memphis to Atlanta. Rev. Abernathy would take over the Southern Christian Leadership Conference.
