One pamphlet written in 1963 by Anne Braden entitled, "House Un-American Activities Committee: Bulwark of Segregation." Braden analyzes the impact of the House Un-American Activities Committee targeting African-Americans as communists. They discredited the efforts of NAACP, Southern Regional Council and others. Lists suggestions from the Southern Conference Educational Fund who also requested donations for legal defense, to cover the costs for members of their organization who were indicted and experienced home raids.
