Addressed to "Dad, Bee, Bob, Jim, Barry, Ken, and anyone else who is around." Nothing much to report from the "northwestern sector." Talks about five professors of Spanish who alternate days, including "Captain Eduardo Nile-Silva from the U. of Madrid and Pultizer and Guggenheim fellowships winner, is the best language teacher I've ever had." Another teacher, who is the head geographist, [Leo Heinrich] Waibel, is a former member of the German Supreme Court and great teacher. In additon to classes, they have "P.T." [Physical Training] and other tests.
He went on a trip to Minneapolis, and then to Northfield to explore canyons with some "ex-Williams" boys. He also writes that summer school is over, and all the girls have gone home. Congratulates Bob on his hard work and signs off.

The copyright law of the United States (title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specific conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be “used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research.” If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of “fair use,” that user may be liable for copyright infringement. This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.
