A collection of correspondence between Claude E. Brantley to Dorothy Brantley. Contains 169 letters, 1 pamphlet, 11 postcards and 2 photographs. The items are dated from December of 1942 to September of 1945. Some letters are not dated except with the week day they were written. The early letters were written to Dorothy before the couple were married. As such they are addressed to her maiden name of Dorothy Troyer until July 1944 at which time they must have been married because the letters were then addressed to Mrs. Dorothy Brantley.
