Details racial conflict during the Great Depression. The pamphlet sites the shortage of jobs and migration as a primary aggravators of increased tension to which the Commission dedicates their legal work. The Commission solicits donations and provides a finance statement of operations costs. The pamphlet gives specific example of lynching that could have been prevented if they had better funding. The financial statement and a list of the national committee and committee members is found in the back. Notable members on the list include Gov. Harry Byrd.
