One engraving entitled "Gov. Stuyvesant Destroying the Summons to Surrender New York" dated 1866. Depicts an angry Governor Peter Stuyvesant crushing a piece of paper above his head while three men look on startled by Stuyvesant's actions. At the time of engraving this painting was in the possession of Johnson, Fry & Co.
