Thanks Ogden and the other nurses for taking care of him during his stay in the hospital. Describes the continued pain of his wounded hand. Recounts his journey home, stating that he found his family well. Requests that Ogden write to let him know about the other wounded soldiers. Includes an embossed seal of the Union flag in the upper left hand corner.
