Signed by Sergeant J. A. Jamieson. With a forward by Sergeant John A. Jamieson, Sergeant G. I. Williams, Corporal H. White, Private Jack Allen, and Private John Graham. In the introduction, these men declare that they "the undersigned, 'Colored Boys,' who have been over seas with both the Ninety-Second, and Ninety-Third Division ... made up our minds while in the thick of battle that our people throughout the country should have a true history of what our boys have done right from we men who went through every part of the war." Includes details of battle and camp life. Contains photographs as illustrations, and soldiers' narratives of their service. The authors are a part of the15th New York Colored Troops which became the 369th US troops. They were commonly known as the Harlem Hellfighters.
