The fifth article of the Treaty of Ghent dealt with establishing the boundary between the United States and Canada around the northwest angle of Nova Scotia and the northwestern head of the Connecticut River. Book includes copies of letters from the British agent appointed to locate the northwest angle of Nova Scotia, Ward Chipman. Verified as a true copy by S. Hales.
