At the Institute’s core is the Gilder Lehrman Collection, one of the great archives in American history. More than 85,000 items cover five hundred years of American history, from Columbus’s 1493 letter describing the New World through the end of the twentieth century.

Section dated 4/5/1760, [possibly to the same recipient]. Also includes "A Memorandum of sundry Good to be sent by Mrs. Sarah Nickleson & Co., and small scrap of paper indicating various letter were quoted in a letter to Cahills, 5/24/1760.
