Writes to his wife about their son, Charles Woolston, a soldier sick with tyhoid fever in the hospital whom he went to go visit. States that Charles is still very sick but he believes he will pull through and hopes to bring him home. Says he is delerious. Writes that it cost him $17 to get to the hospital in Richmond, Virginia from Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Informs that Charles will be discharged from the military soon. On stationary of the U.S. Christian Commission.
