Curtin, Governor of Pennsylvania, writes to a recipient whose name is illegible (possibly H. A. Braidman). Mentions a pending bill in the state legislature (possibly concerning marriage). Notes that he will pass Braidman's letter to the chairman of the proper committee, so that his suggestions may be added to the proposed act. Writes, "...my dear Doctor you must not suppose I am ignorant of the many times you remembered me in your prayers..." Written on Pennsylvania Executive Chamber stationery.
