Jackson received Knox's letter of June 1. He discusses with Knox the issue of paying the freight "out of the articles, if they are to be sold." This issue is connected to the business account with Mrs. Swan. Mentions the interest in seeing Knox take his seat in the legislature, but Jackson told people he doubted Knox would be able to do that.
