Lucy Knox's sister, Mrs. Beaumez, writes Knox of her concerns for her sons. She is happy for Thomas Flucker's good behavior, but worried about Francis. She is considering sending them to England and expresses her wish that peace come to France and America. Talks of her husband's business affairs in India and doesn't think they should leave until he has more money.
