Two parts. First part lists the salaries for the members of the Department of War for the months of April, May and June. Noted as written on 30 June at the War Office. Second part lists the names with signatures of each member of the department, indicating that they have received their respective pay for the months previously listed. Noted as written in Philadelphia on 7 July. Signed by Philip Audebert, Benjamin Bankson, Constant Freeman, Nathan Jones, James B. Smith, Frederick Sprig, John Stagg Jr. and R. J. Vanden Brock.
