Discusses the "detention of the two Companies at Castle Island ... " and forwards an "application I made to the Bank for the Loan of 500 dollars but they refused leting [sic] me have any - " (GLC02437.03567). States that the loan was for payment of the troops, who will remain at Castle Island until they are paid. Writes, "You must support me in some way or other."
