re: Dodge predicts the movement of the troops of Generals Hooker and Burnside and believes they will eventually meet near Chancellorsville. He also reminisces about the battle of Fredericksburg [December 13, 1862] and believes that their newest general, Grant, "would sacrafise every man for the sake of giting a big name."
