Three Virginia state brass uniform buttons. [Manufactured by Waterbury Button Co. in Cheshire, CT]. Buttons bear the seal of the Commonwealth of Virginia, probably belonging to Edward R. Archer while in the service of the Confederate States [Virginia] Volunteer Navy.
