John Noyes writes to his wife in Newbury, Massachusetts that he is well and hopes she is too. He has not been paid yet. States the troops were going to take Bunker's Hill but the ice was not strong enough to bear them. Noyes was a soldier in the Continental army during the Revolutionary War.
