Writes to his wife in Newbury, Massachusetts that he is well and hopes she is too. He thinks something is going to happen soon because some prominent families are leaving town for England (possibly Loyalists). Discusses a rifleman that was taken to jail and sent out a letter but he got out of prison. Wants to come home soon and sends love to the family. Noyes served in the Continental army during the Revolutionary War.
