A thank you letter from Saud Nasir Al-Sabah, the Ambassador of Kuwait, for Moorhead's support of President Bush's efforts in Kuwait. He writes, "The past six months have been the most trying period in the history of Kuwait. The Kuwaiti people have suffered unspeakable cruelty. But they have also been deeply moved and heartened by the world's reaction to their plight, and especially by the leadership of the United States in coalescing a unified opposition to Saddam Hussein's brutality." He thanks all member countries but acknowledges the leadership, effort and sacrifices of the people of the United States. He closes the letter with "The Kuwaiti people will never forget your commitment to our struggle for freedom." This letter is on the Embassy of the State of Kuwait's stationery.
