A thank you letter from Bill Chappell, the House representative for Florida's fourth district, for Moorhead's vote on H.R. 4781. This bill concerns defense spending, and complies with the funding levels agreed upon in the previous December's budget summit. Chappell also mentions that it is the first time since 1984 that the defense appropriations bill had not been passed as part of a continuing resolution as well as that it is the first time in ten years that it will be cleared for signing before the beginning of the fiscal year. This letter is on Chappell's House of Representative stationery.
